7th Grade World History:
Focus: Mesopotamia/Early Empires
Class work: Centers (1)---Build a ziggarut out of modeling clay.
(2)---Mesopotamia cunneiform games on British Museum website.
(3)---Color a picture of a Mesopotamian deity or famous building.
(4)---Reading Center, review vocabulary, students' choice of reading from the classroom Social Studies library.
Home Work: Review for Unit test on Tuesday, September 30th!!!!!!!!
During class students got to engage in activities to extend their learning about the ancient empires of the Fertile Crescent, its writing, culture, history, and archaeology. Each student took an index card with him/her to document each activity in which they participated. This card was their "exit slip" to get out of class at the end of the day.
